Work begins on a new hotel in Playa Blanca which is advertised as “the largest in Lanzarote”.

“(…) The IHP Team, an international company specialized in the hotel sector, has begun the work of preparing the land to build a new hotel in Playa Blanca, in the partial plan Castillo del Águila, in a plot of Yudaya, a company that belongs to the business group of the Hermanos Domínguez, owners of the Hiperdino supermarket chain.

The hotel will be operated by the Barceló chain and will have 720 rooms and a shopping center.

Yudaya awarded the project to IHP and in the agreement it was signed that the management of the establishment would be done “by a large chain”. The hotel will be four-star and 720 rooms, will occupy about 90,000 square meters, will have 13 large differentiated spaces, will have a premium area of 130 rooms and exclusive services, 10,000 square meters of water areas, a convention center and theater, a spa, a discotheque and a shopping center.
